Motick's privacy principle is simple: your conversations belong to you. This policy explains what data Motick processes when you use the product, how it is processed, and the rights you have.

What data we process

When you use call recording, recording-card capture and event generation, Motick processes the following data on your device:

• Call recordings, and other conversation audio captured via the Motick recording card;
• Text transcribed locally from those recordings;
• Calendar events extracted and generated from conversations (time, subject and the corresponding original quote as evidence).

How data is stored and processed

• Transcription and understanding run entirely on your phone (on-device); full functionality is available without a network;
• Recordings and transcripts are stored only on your device. Motick has no server for uploading recordings—recordings never leave your device;
• Calendar events, once confirmed by you, are written directly to your device's system calendar.

Third-party sharing

We do not share, sell or provide your recordings, transcripts or calendar event data to any third party.

Device permissions and their purposes

• Microphone: to capture call content and in-person conversations;
• Storage: to keep recordings and transcripts locally;
• Calendar write access: to write events you have confirmed into the system calendar.

Your rights

• You can delete any recording, transcript or event record within the app at any time;
• Deletion takes effect locally and immediately; deleted data cannot be recovered.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, it will be updated on this page with a new effective date; material changes will additionally be announced within the app.
